Hostess clubs have a strict "no touching" policy and patrons will be removed for trying to initiate private or sexual conversation topics. Normal hostess clubs are classified as a food and entertainment establishment and are regulated by the Businesses Affecting Public Morals Regulation Act, prohibiting any form of sexual contact between employees and customers.

Tender will feel hauntingly familiar to anyone who managed to get a drink at the bar in the Grill Room of the Four Seasons restaurant before it closed.
